Admission into Shoishav

  • New admissions are made only to PP1 ( BOKUL). Other admissions if any, will depend on the availability of seats.
  • New students must be introduced personally by their parents or guardians who will be responsible for their regularity, conduct and fees.
  • If the school authorities think it convenient, they will examine the new applicants and place them in the class they are found fit for.
  • When admitted at any part of the year, they pay an entrance fee, the annual fee and the school fee of the whole year.

Admission Calendar

The academic year for pre primary section will be from January to December. Important dates of admission process are:

Office hours: 9.30 am to 5.00 pm, Weekly holiday: Sunday

Application Process

Interested parents will have to register name(s) of their child in Enrollment Application Register. There will be separate registration list for male and female child. No Separate application form will be issued before admission. Parents will have to fill up a form and submit necessary documents along with the form only during the time of admission. The register will remain open in office of the school or in place as per decision by the authority of the school. Interested parents will have to register during office hours only.

Selection Process

A committee will be formed by the authority of the school for selecting students to enroll, based on registration in Enrollment Application Register. The committee, through a process of scrutiny will prepare the List -1 and the list-2. The list -1 will be published first on specific date, as per Admission calendar. If any vacancy remains after publication of list 1, then the committee will prepare and publish the List-2, which will be the final list.

Criterion of Selection

The Student Selection Committee will primarily select students based on following criterion:
  • The list for scrutiny will be as per chronological order of Enrollment Application Register, opened separately for both male and female child. A separate register will be opened for “Special category”, i.e deserving children from nearby area, as per RTE Act (Wherever applicable).
  • The authority of the school will prefer to enroll male and female child in equal numbers.
(The selection committee will have the right to scrutiny and select student as well as reject application. The school authority will obey all rules and regulation of RTE Act. If situation demands, the selection committee may arrange “lucky draw” for selecting student.)

Criterion of Selection

During scrutiny, the Selection committee will decide, applying following preferential criterion:

1 Orphan
2 Child belonging to family, victims of natural / manmade disaster
3 Girl child
4 Nearest to school Campus.
5 Brother/ Sister of already enrolled students
